The Purcellville Business Association (PBA) was privileged to once again to have a high-caliber speaker from the National Speakers Association speak to our members. Colleen Vossler, Esq. and founder of Vossler Negotiations LLC gave the PBA members and guests tips on three proven strategies for successful negotiation at its September 9th lunch meeting at the Loudoun Golf & Country Club.

Vossler pointed out that “everyone negotiates everyday”. Identifying a BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement), Packaging Issues, and Building Trust in Negotiations were the three strategies for successful negotiation. She gave examples from her personal experiences and those one might encounter in everyday life.

Vossler has spoken before the Tower Club in Tysons, the Virginia Women’s Business Conference and will be guest speaker at the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce. She speaks across the country and will soon be going to London for a speaking engagement. Questions were entertained and Vossler stayed after the meeting to chat with business leaders.
