Highlights of the Candidate Forum October 8th
Welcome: Made by Grant Wetmore, PBA President. Grant thanked our sponsors and special guests. Grant also reminded attendees that the PBA is looking for Board members and suggested that anyone interested please send an email to board@purcellvillebusiness.org.
Upcoming events reminder was presented by Laura Ours & Colleen Stutz who reminded everyone about the Celebrate Purcellville event that culminates on Saturday. PBA is a sponsor and will have a tent set up. Any members that would like to volunteer to staff the tent can do so with the signup genius link that has been emailed out. If any members want to have giveaway items with their company info on them, you can drop them off at Laura Ours office.
Grant then introduced Gary Clemens, Clerk of the Circuit Court who was the moderator for our Meet the Candidates Forum. The candidates were asked a list of questions and then they were allowed time to introduce themselves and make a closing statement.
The candidates who attended were:
