Gov. Northam Extends Exec Order 53

On April 15th, 2020, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam extended the expiration deadline of Executive Order 53, closing all non-essential services and businesses who cannot feasibly adhere to social distancing guidelines until May 8th, 2020. This is different from the Stay At Home Order, Executive Order 55, which directs Virginians to stay home unless they must leave for essential services.
