Along with its more serious endeavors, Purcellville Business Association throws in a measure of Fun!

The Fundraiser hosted by the PBA at Catoctin Creek Distillery was a festival of song, laughter and “ugly” Christmas sweaters.  Local business owners and their friends and families participated as solo or group acts raising money for western Loudoun charities. Jars on the bar, each designated for the various participants were used by guests to vote for their favorite acts. Mary Liz McCauley, mixer Chair and President Jim Bowman acted as jolly hosts for the evening, introducing the acts, and awarding prizes for correct answers to holiday trivia questions. Prizes were also awarded in the following categories; best individual singer, Dr. Scott Dilzer, best group ReLove It, consisting of Kim Patterson-Oaks, Michael Oaks, and Lori Connelly-DeFranco, and for the “ugliest Christmas sweater, Michael Oaks.
