PBA Online Benefits

Build Your Business by Building Your PBA Presence Online

PBA has a new website, Facebook and LinkedIn media channels, plus a weekly PBA Update! email that reaches all of our members and general business subscribers as well.

You have knowledge and know-how that you can share with your fellow members. Whether you take photos at PBA mixer, shoot a video, or write a “Top 10 Tips” article, your contributions to PBA’s Member Blogs, Facebook page, and LinkedIn Groups will increase your visibility in the business community and to the search engines. Invaluable!

7 Great Ways to Get Started

1. Become a Guest Blogger

It’s easy, and PBA Vice President Daniel Abramson makes it even easier with ideas for you to develop into a list of Top 10 tips you can share about your field with fellow members and their friends on Facebook and other social media. Check out these  recent contributions and contact daniel@staffdynamics.biz.

2. Like, Share, and Post on  Facebook—on your page and PBA’s page.

If Facebook’s not been your thing, consider this: In a 2012 study of 972 business owners and marketers, 41% of B2Band 67% of B2C companies reported they have acquired a customer through Facebook.

Visit PBA’s page and “Like” It.  We’re now linked. Whatever PBA posts will show up on your Facebook page…and that shows you’re plugged into the business community while PBA benefits from visibility among your Friends, especially if you click “Share”!

Turn it around: Whatever information about upcoming events, programs, ribbon-cuttings related to your business that you post on your site will appear on PBA’s Facebook page because you’ve made us a Friend. What goes around comes around.

3. Join PBA’s LinkedIn Group Conversations

The more you participate, the more you become a subject matter authority in the business community and the more you become visible to the search engines.

4. PBA Update!

We send out a news and events email at least once a week. Let us know two weeks in advance of your event. We add information about member businesses’ activities that are relevant to PBA’s general membership.

5. PBA Website Posts

We welcome your photos, comments, as well as events news for the calendar.

Laura Longley, PBA member and marketing chair, handles website posts and welcomes yours. You can reach her at laura@lauralongley.com

6. Featured Business Cards

See those rotating cards in the lower right corner of website pages? We pull three out of a hat at each monthly PBA meeting: They appear on the site throughout the following month.

7. Website Sponsorships and Banner Display

Target PBA’s  influential market—fellow members of the business community—by sponsoring the website for a month at $125 and receive:

Top of the website page as the first of the four featured businesses

Sponsorship recognition–with your website page image–on our Facebook page

Recognition on PBA’s LinkedIn Page and Group

Recognition in the four monthly PBA Update! emails to members and subscriber
